The Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society (BAMS) has included the AI2ES-funded research paper in it’s “Papers of Note” from the February 2024 issue. The AI2ES-funded paper, Comparison of Radar-Observed Tornadic and Nontornadic MCS Cells Using Probability-Matched Means”, is authored by OU PhD student alumni, Dr. Amanda Murphy and her advisor, Dr. Cameron Homeyer. It is in the October Issue of the Journal of Applied Meteorology and Climatology. Dr. Murphy completed a PhD at the University of Oklahoma in December 2023.
